Background and Aim:
This symposium is organized as an educational meeting on highest scientific level but closely bound to clinical practice by cardiologists with different fields of interest and expertise: rhythmology (MB) and interventional cardiology and hemostaseology (KH). It is our aim to increase the knowledge of the highly developed field of conservative and invasive rhythmology within interventionalists, non-invasive cardiologists and specialists in internal medicine or general practitioners and to discuss new develop- ments in pharmacologic strategies and device therapies in patients with rhythm disturbances. The faculty as well as the audience is international with main focus on middle European nations. This should increase the cooperation between nations and raise the understanding for different treatment strategies, which are based on financial and regulatory differences in these countries.
Who should attend this meeting?
Conservative and interventional cardiologists, specialists in internal medicine and general practitioners with interest in rhythmology and cardiology, physicians in education for internal medicine or cardiology, and cardiac surgeons involved in implantation of pace makers and ICDs, respectively.
